My work explores the relationship between the universality of myth and emotional memories. With influences as diverse as Northern Renaissance and Pop Art, my works are created from both mundane and transcendent textures.

Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by the endless diversity of living from, such as the difference between humans and animals. This passion developed into an art practice, consistent of both life drawing from people and imaginary creatures. While animals in my paintings often have human qualities, human figures have the plasticity of animals. As those figures become distorted through studious and academic practice, the viewer is left with an insight into the outposts of our condition.
